Our Vision of French at Brownhills West Primary School
At Brownhills West Primary School, our vision is to provide all pupils with a high-quality education in modern foreign languages, with a focus on fostering a love for the French language and Francophone culture. Our aim is to inspire curiosity, promote cultural understanding, and equip pupils with the linguistic skills necessary to communicate effectively in French.
We do this by:
- developing pupils' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in French.
- exposing pupils to authentic French culture through language, literature, and traditions.
- encouraging a positive attitude towards language learning and an appreciation for diversity and inclusion.
